ExtraView Corporation has created this Privacy Statement to assure our visitors and our customers that their privacy is respected. This Privacy Statement is directed at visitors to our web site and to customers whose data we store online within the ExtraView software. Your privacy is important to us. Web Site

We log our visitors' IP addresses through standard Web server logging (using the Apache web server) to determine how many unique visits we have. We also log general demographic information such as browser type and the operating system of each visitor.  Log files do not capture and do not enable us to view personal identifying information, such as your email address or your name.

 

Requests for Information

The ExtraView Corporation web site offers several forms that allow visitors to voluntarily request more information from ExtraView Corporation. When you request information from us, the contact information may be used to communicate with you when necessary, with respect to the request made through the web site. We may also send you information about our company and/or information about best practices and events that relate to our products.

 

Any site visitor may request access to view any of their personal data held on the ExtraView Corporation website, and may request the deletion of that data.

 

ExtraView Software Hosted by ExtraView Corporation for Customers

If you are a user of the ExtraView software hosted by ExtraView Corporation, your name, user ID, password, email address and demographic information such as your phone number and address may be stored in our databases.  This information is only available through the ExtraView software and is only visible to yourself, your company's designated site administrator(s) and to the ExtraView Corporation personnel who administer the ExtraView software.  You may view, modify or delete this information at any time via the standard features of the ExtraView software or you may ask your company’s designated site administrator(s) to perform these tasks for you.  ExtraView Corporation never uses or accesses this information for any purpose other than to support your company’s use of the ExtraView software, and this information is never shared by ExtraView Corporation with any third party.

 

Different configurations of the ExtraView software hosted by ExtraView Corporation may store additional information about each user or third parties, as specified and configured by your company’s designated administrator(s).  Your company’s designated administrator(s) are entirely responsible for the privacy of this data and have access to all the features of the ExtraView software to ensure this data is configured according to your company’s own privacy policies.

 

Cookies

The ExtraView web site does not use cookies to track usage. However, if you are a user of the cloud-based, hosted ExtraView software, this uses cookies to store your own identity on your own computer, and to keep session information while accessing the application. This information is not used by ExtraView for any other purpose and is deleted when you exit the ExtraView software.

 

Links

The ExtraView web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that ExtraView Corporation is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.

 

Children

ExtraView Corporation products are for use by businesses. Therefore, we would not expect children under the age of 18 to access the site or to provide us with any personally identifiable information.

 

Disclosure of Information

ExtraView Corporation never discloses personal information provided to us to any third party.  This is subject to our requirement to disclose information to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.  Personal information is also subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or any other U.S. authorized statutory body

 

ExtraView Corporation has a requirement to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. 

 

Newsletter

ExtraView Technology periodically mails a newsletter to its customers and recipients who have opted-in for this service. Occasionally we may send a special edition of our newsletter to all who have requested information from the ExtraView Corporation web site and provided us with their email address for this purpose. To block receipt of the occasional newsletter, either state this preference in any request for information, or send an email to info@extraview.com with the word 'unsubscribe' somewhere in the subject or body of the message.

 

Security

ExtraView Corporation takes precautions to protect our customers' information. When you submit sensitive information via our web site or via the ExtraView application, your information is protected both online and off-line using standard security best practices such as firewalls, encryption and intrusion detection.

 

Credit Cards

Credit cards may be used to provide payment for invoices sent for services rendered by ExtraView Corporation to your organization.  Each invoice will provide details on how to pay via this mechanism.  ExtraView Corporation does not store or retain the credit card number for any invoice you pay in this way.

 

EU-U.S. and UK Extension Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. and UK DPF)

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF ExtraView commits to cooperate and comply respectively with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) with regard to unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. ExtraView Corporation has further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved DPF complaints concerning data transferred from the EU.  If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact the EU DPAs (https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/article-29/structure/data-protection-authorities/index_en.htm) for more information or to file a complaint.

 

Under certain conditions, more fully described on the DPF website (https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/program-articles/How-to-Submit-a-Complaint-Relating-to-a-Participating-Organization’s-Compliance-with-the-DPF-Principles), you may be entitled to invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.

 

ExtraView Corporation does not currently transfer personal data, received pursuant to the DPF, to third party agents. However, if personal information of EU or UK individuals is transferred to third parties in the future, ExtraView Corporation is potentially liable.

 

Individuals may have the right to limit the use and disclosure of their personal information as required by the DPA Principles, such as whether your personal information is disclosed to a third party or used for purposes materially different from the purpose for which the personal information was originally collected or subsequently authorized by you.  An individual may opt-out of such uses of their personal information by contacting us at the email address info@extraview.com.
