ExtraView Corporation Privacy Statement

ExtraView Corporation has created this Privacy Statement to assure our visitors and our customers that their privacy is respected. This Privacy Statement is directed at visitors to our web site. We have adopted a separate statement contained in the "End User License Agreement" to address the privacy needs of our customers whose installations we host. This statement is available through the administration menus in your ExtraView implementation. Your privacy is important to us. In this document we outline the ways that we collect information, and describe how this information is used.

Log Files

We log our visitors' IP addresses through standard Web server logging (using the Apache web server) to determine how many unique visits we have. We also log general demographic information such as browser type and the operating system of each visitor. Log files do not enable us to access personal identifying information, such as your email address or your name.

The ExtraView web site does not use cookies to track usage. However, if you are a user of the hosted ExtraView application, this may use cookies to store your own identity on your own computer, and to keep session information while accessing the application. This information is not used by ExtraView for any other purpose.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that ExtraView Corporation is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected at this web site.

ExtraView Corporation products are for use by businesses. Therefore, we would not expect children under the age of 18 to access the site or to provide us with any personally identifiable information.

ExtraView Technology periodically mails a newsletter to its customers and recipients who have opted-in for this service. Occasionally we may send a special edition of our newsletter to all who have requested information from the ExtraView Corporation web site and provided us with their email address for this purpose. To block receipt of the occasional newsletter, either state this preference in any request for information, or send an email to bulletins@extraview.com with the word 'unsubscribe' somewhere in the subject or body of the message.

When you submit sensitive information via our web site or via the ExtraView application, your information is protected both online and off-line using standard security best practices such as firewalls, encryption and intrusion detection.
